Feeding the Community

As the title of this blog suggests, our North Carolina Marketing Department has been busy giving back to their local community. Our Marketing Manager at this regional office, Brad Watkins, spearheaded an initiative two months ago that began by clipping coupons and shopping for food that eventually became 20 meals comprised of chicken, green beans, potatoes, granola bars, cookies, and water. This past month Brad’s department created 30 meals that comprised of pork instead of chicken complete with all the aforementioned accouterments. As a bonus, a local restaurant threw in all the plastic ware and napkins rounding out the presentation of this generous and compassionate undertaking.

Brad’s wife deserves recognition too, as she has been preparing the food to date, however, next month there will be three homes preparing the plates as the enthusiasm for this ‘Feed the Community’ program is growing at this office.

The employees who wish to participate in this Program meet at an area notorious for homeless people hanging around. Our employees who participate put the meals in a basket and walk around offering the plates to those who are interested. According to Brad, demonstrating his gratitude through this initiative is just one example of how giving back reinvigorates himself and his department with an attitude that anything is possible, and with true gratitude in his and their hearts, they are primed for success to come as this department continues to grow and flourish. From me to Brad and his department, and on behalf of all of us at Clear Creek Consulting, I congratulate and thank you on your leadership. I thank you and your team for this selfless and compassionate gesture!

Client Savings

Over the past few years, Clear Creek Consulting has been collecting data regarding the amount of money our Associates have saved our clients. Since we began collecting data in 2012 our Associates have saved our clients approximately $7,787,581. We consider these ‘hard’ dollar amounts as these amounts that we have saved our clients are in the form of  Offer in Compromise savings, Innocent Spouse relief, Penalty Abatements associated with past due taxes and savings associated with protecting our clients until the Collection Statute Expired.

As far as ‘soft’ savings which came in the form of assisting a company close down and account for its assets, or negotiate a stay of collection by proving that the individual or company is unable to pay their taxes, or through Partial Pay Installment Agreements, not to mention assisting our clients file their returns to replace the substitute returns the taxing authorities filed for them, we have saved our clients approximately $13,454,166 although these savings cannot be verified as some of our former clients may have become non-compliant which would nullify the agreement we had negotiated. Based on these premises, Clear Creek Consulting Associates have potentially saved upwards of $21,241,747 for our clients from 2012 through July of 2014. I realize that many will interpret these numbers as they wish, however, I know that regardless of what some may say, I stand behind the resolution creativity, industry leading work and negotiating prowess our Associates exhibit for our valued clients every day, not to mention our Services Managers who train, and grow this amazing department. Thank you all for all the work you all do for our clients. Without your tireless commitment of putting our clients first by protecting their assets and negotiating on their behalf, we would not be the industry leading company that we are today. Thank you!
