Holiday Cheer

Clear Creek Consulting wishes to thank all of our generous employees who once again mobilized into action and made this year’s holiday gift giving another successful holiday event. I wish to personally thank each and every one of our employees who donated money, or food and health items, or clothing. Furthermore to those of you who spent time shopping during lunch or after work or wrapping gifts and driving these items to our chosen non-profit partners, you too, are so very imperative to the success of this fund raise and again, you all made this year a bit brighter for those who could use a bit of holiday cheer. Again, I thank you!

With Clear Creek Consulting matching the funds that our employees donated, we raised a total of $3,172 which was a 31% increase over last year – an amazing increase. Donated food items were doubled and clothing items were up by approximately 300% as well at 257 pounds. This year we also donated 27 pounds of beauty and healthy supplies. Although much of this increase was out of pure good will, our managers organized raffles in which employees bought raffle tickets for time-off and other work-related incentives which also helped to drive donations. To our managers who organized the raffle, I wish to thank you as well.

The following are the organizations to whom our efforts benefited:

Denver Rescue Mission:
There will be over 900 people who spend the holiday with this Organization. These people turn to the Denver Rescue Mission for various reasons: the loss of a job, a family breakup, alcohol and drug abuse, medical issues, domestic violence, or simply the difficult life circumstances that result from making bad decisions. Clear Creek Consulting provided direct donations of 210 pounds of food, 358 pounds of clothing, blankets, and toiletries.

Denver SafeHouse:
Serves victims of domestic violence and their children through both an emergency shelter and a non-residential Counseling and Advocacy Center. Clear Creek Consulting sponsored 16 people.

Boulder County Family to Family:
Provides a dignified safety net for those experiencing temporary economic challenges, often due to situations beyond their control. We provided $570 in Walmart and Target gift cards to be used for toiletries, over the counter medication, and food for needy families.

Boulder Shelter for the Homeless:
Provides cold weather shelter and transitional services for adults. We provided blankets, towels, and toiletries.

Emergency Family Assistance Association:
Provides a dignified safety net for those experiencing temporary economic challenges, often due to situations beyond their control. We provided toiletries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and health items

to this organization.
